Our core business at Bouldercombe State
School is to provide an exceptional
educational program and environment for our
students. We offer our students a high
quality curriculum, implemented by
dedicated and caring staff in a warm
supportive environment. We are confident
that you will find Bouldercombe to be a
student centred school that attains the
best possible learning outcomes for each of
our students.
All students, staff and
visitors are welcomed by attractive flower
gardens
Supporting our curriculum delivery are
visiting specialist teachers including
Music, Japanese and Physical Education
teachers. Students are able to participate
in a wide variety of sporting opportunities
including athletics, swimming and team
sports such as tennis, rugby league,
netball and soccer. Bouldercombe's
proud sporting history has for many years
seen team success in Rockhampton District
Sports Competitions and individuals
attaining district, Capricornia and State
representation.
Eisteddfods, Choral Festivals, and
national dance and drama competitions are
just some of the wonderful offerings for
students in the Arts. One term per year,
students are able to engage in an
extra-curricula activities program which in
2005-2009included craft, scrap booking, karate,
dance, drama and cooking.
Assisting us to provide such valuable
learning experiences is the high level of
parental participation in school life. In
addition to classroom, tuckshop and grounds
assistance, contributions made during
monthly P & C Meetings are valued. Our
school continues to develop an exceptional
partnership with parents to ensure the best
possible educational programs and
facilities for students.
