A quiet rural
atmosphere where
homes nestle among
native trees on small

rubbing shoulders

The brigade has recently taken delivery of the new Fire Truck, a ISUZU 4x4
which replaces our decommissioned International Acco. Sadly the Acco had reached its
use by date according to Rural Fire Service guidelines.
Funds for the new truck were obtained from a Gambling Community
Benefit Fund grant, The Rural Fire Service - veteran
vehicle replacement scheme and the Bouldercombe Rural Fire Brigade.
The brigade has also been very fortunate in obtaining a Community Help Grant
through NRMA Insurance, funds from this grant have been used to improve
water storage facilities with the installation of a 25,000 litre tank.

The current mild weather conditions are ideal for hazard reduction burns eg. piles of
rubbish, logs and controlled burns of grassy paddocks.
NOW is the time to get your permit from our Fire Warden, Kev Hinchliffe 49340132.
Please do the right thing and get your permit before you light up.
After you have arranged for your Fire Permit, arrangements can be made for
brigade members to assist with your burn off.
